This revolutionary solution was patented by Euro Mec’s Director, Eng. Massimiliano Previdi.
This technology was introduced last year and is now running in commercial production to recover PVA (Poly Vinyl Alcohol) from the water (PVA Bath).
While zero discharge plants are for waste water recovery, the PVA recovery plant is a part of the complete zero discharge cycle. “ Trends change with every season and many companies today use PVA yarn, especially the terry towels industry, besides that PVA has traditionally been an essential ingredient in the sizing of warp yarn. But the use of PVA becomes a bottleneck for the efficient working of ZLD Plants as it damages the membranes, thereby reducing the life of the membranes. Now, with PVA being treated separately, the BOD load to the Biological Plant has reduced drastically, “shares Massimiliano Previdi Euromec director.
