Euromec, the Italian company responsible for the realization of the Paradise Village wastewater treatment plant, is interested in participating in the tender for the creation of the mega-Plant planned for the Bay of Flags. Thanks to Riccardo Caffarella, a member of the company's European management team, it was possible the plan the undertaking with Graciano Sovernigo in Riviera Nayarit, an excellent letter of reference.

Interviewed exclusively for Enfoque Riviera, Caffarella, who was in Riviera Nayarit overseeing the new system on behalf of Euromec, has expressed an interest to continue working in Mexico stating that to date the company has focused on wastewater systems in Europe, Africa and Asia, with very good results both in terms of efficiency and environmental impact.
After discussing the viability of a mega-plant to resolve the problems of an entire region – such as that planned in the Bay of Flags - Riccardo Caffarella commented that it is more viable to have several smaller plants because a large volume represents a major expenditure do to convey wastewater to one location, and at the same time, in a large plant even a small defect can be transformed into a big problem.

The quality of effluent treatment in our country, said the Italian expert who has visited several facilities in Mexico and considered that in general there are many problems in the handling and the fact that there are many that are not updated as to
technology, and this allows a good quality in water treatment, for example, requires you to put too much chlorine and although it allows certain parameters to comply with the law, put chlorine involves a major expense and a greater danger from the ecological point of view.

It must be noted that the planting of Paradise Village uses advanced technology and the Italian company, as part of the agreement creating the plant at this time is getting the approval of workers who must stay in constant contact with staff Italy.
