The textile activity, intended as working of fibres for the obtainment of garments, is one of the most ancient artisan work; it is dated back to the Neolithic Age (12.000 years ago).
It is then in the course of XVI-XVII the century that we can start talking about “Textile Industry” and it had a strategic importance for the industrialization process in Europe.
Also nowadays the textile industry is considered to be a strategic sector for the Developing countries such as: India, Brazil, China, but not only, it has been determinant also for the growth and development of countries of North Africa (Morocco, Egypt, Tunis), and then also for Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and moving towards West, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Honduras, Venezuela, Argentina.

The textile industry in the last 50 years has passed from a process still mostly based on artisan methods to a process even more industrialized.
Big textile industrial concerns have been established in the last decades, not only in Europe but all over the world, and can easily be asserted that textile is among the light industry mostly present worldwide.

One of the most important raw material used in the textile processes is “WATER”.
Billions of m3 of water used every day in the world for producing/working the garments/fabrics.
And consequently Billions of m3 of highly contaminated water discharged everyday in the environment.

Our team is since more than 30 years now specifically working in this field, since always looking at innovations both in matter of wastewater and of wastewater recovery.
Please find here following the most important distinguishing aspects:
  • High knowledge of the entire textile process: that allow us to study the most suitable solution for customer by starting from the configuration of their process
  • Utmost care the cost-effectiveness of the solution proposed – our aim is to propose an optimal solution that can be paid back within very short time. This is possible thanks to the very low running/operational costs of our plants.
  • Highly sustainable plants – Our plants are developed by always keeping the safeguard of environment as priority aspect.
In such regard we underline that all our plants:
a)  Make very low and only occasional use of chemicals,
b)  produce very low quantity of sludge, and anyway NOT TOXIC SLUDGE
c)  Allows to save space when compared with the same technology generally offered by  our competition
d) Allows to reduce the necessity of civil works constructions when compared with the same technology generally offered by  our competition
e) Reduce at minimum the necessity of manpower. This because our plants are completely automatized and even because the process really needs a low and seldom intervention from man. 

All this has been possible through a long study in the course of many years and thanks to the hundred plants installed all over the world that made possible the analysis of many aspects, many variables, many different conditions that are usually affecting the good performance of the plant.

The aim of our researches is to make our plants become an “INVESTMENT” for our customers. An investment addressed to allow our clients to reduce the costs that are then transferred to the final product.

We resume herewith the list of innovations made in such direction:

- employment of fully biological process without use of pre-treatments based on chemical dosing (chemical-physical plants), and through the employment of a pre-anaerobic treatment, so that by combining the fully aerobic process with an anaerobic one avoids the forming of filamentous bacteria. All this based on a uniform air injection by air diffusers with air-diffusing net of AISI-304

- Employment of carousel shape tanks in biological process, allowing the increase of oxygen transfer in the water, and therefore by highly increasing the quality of outlet parameters of water

- Development of double-stage biological process, permit a strong action in case of water having an elevated content of pollutants such as: COD, COLOR etc.

- Nitrification/denitrificaiton process, that combined with our fully biological process allows the removal of ammonia problem through a natural process made by specific nitrificant bacteria

- MBR treatment- or Membrane Biological Reactor, is a treatment whose main aim is that to increase the performance by reducing the occupied space and delivering better water quality. The MBR technology consists of membranes which are inserted in cells, inserted inside of the oxidation tank. It has been tested that the employment of such technology is preferable to a standard biological technology when the following conditions take place:
A) in those installations where it is foreseen to make a recovery of at least 90%
B) in those installations where the space/area is a problem

- 0 discharge plants, our long years experience allowed us to make possible the so called “0 discharge plants” means the recovery of wastewater up to 99%.

- SALTS recovery: usually the textile processes in particular dyeing process makes a large use of salts, in the specific: Sodium sulphate (glober salt) and Chloride sulphate (common salt). Through our continuous research we have been able to develop a particular solution able to recover salts through its separation by membranes from water, even directly from dye-baths.
